July 21, 2015 Board Meeting Agenda Item #31 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #16-0144 FOR FOOD SERVICE EQUIPMENT REPAIR PARTS Description Bids to provide 'Food Service Equipment Repair Parts' were received from five vendors on June 16, 2015.  The bids of GCS Services, Inc., dba Ecolab Equipment Care and Whaley Parts & Supply and were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  Reasons for not selecting the apparent low bid are included with the bid tabulation.  This bid is for a period of one year with an option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the transfer from capital budget allocated to the Facilities Services Department. Recommendation That the bids of GCS Services, Inc., dba Ecolab Equipment Care, and Whaley Parts & Supply for 'Food Service Equipment Repair Parts' in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00, be approved as presented.
